Since the 1990s, Gritty’s has become the epicenter of Old Port nightlife, and a perfect place to run into friends from said decade to drink and be merry. But Gritty’s also does pub fare right. I’m not just talking about the burgers, but also absolutely delicious shepherd’s pie, made with their Black Fly Stout, and cavatappi mac and cheese with fried jalapenos and kielbasa. If given the option, always go with the Gritty’s chips as a side.
